A day at sea to Ponza

After the crossing, you circle the island at a slow pace: the pale cliffs of Chiaia di Luna, the natural arches and rock pools, and the Roman-era galleries of the Grotte di Pilato. There are several stops to swim in remarkably clear water, and lunch is arranged on board or ashore. If the sea allows, the route reaches neighbouring Palmarola. You return to the coast in the late afternoon, sun-warmed and unhurried.
