Italian wine tasting with a sommelier
A guided tasting of Italian wines, from Lazio's native grapes to the great reds of the north.

The experience
Italy grows hundreds of native grape varieties, and a good sommelier makes sense of them in an afternoon. Our concierge reserves a tasting in a wine bar or cellar in the historic centre, led by a sommelier who adapts the selection to your tastes. You might begin with a crisp white from the Castelli Romani, move to Cesanese, the red grape of Lazio, and finish with a structured wine from Tuscany or Piedmont. Each glass comes with the story of its land and its makers, and with cheeses, cured meats and bread alongside. The atmosphere is relaxed and conversational, whether you know wine well or are simply curious.
