The experience
Some of the best cooking in Rome happens in private kitchens. Our concierge arranges a class with a Roman home cook who welcomes you as a guest rather than a student. Around the kitchen table you learn to make pasta dough by hand with flour and eggs, then roll it out and shape it into fettuccine and filled ravioli, while the conversation turns to family recipes and how Romans really eat. A classic tiramisù is layered at the start so it has time to set. The class ends at the table, with the pasta you made, a simple sauce and a glass of wine. Recipes are shared so you can recreate the meal at home.
