The experience
When the day visitors leave, Rome softens. On an evening walk arranged by our concierge with a local guide, you see the city's great sights under their lights, starting above the Roman Forum as the ruins glow against the dusk. The route continues through the historic centre to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, then on to the Spanish Steps, with stories of emperors, popes, artists and ordinary Romans along the way. There is time for a gelato and for the small details that are easy to miss by day. It is a gentle, rewarding introduction for a first evening, and a pleasure for guests who already know Rome.
